In our often busy world, finding moments of stillness and reflection can be a challenge. That’s why we’re excited to announce our upcoming Mindfulness Retreat Fundraiser, designed to help individuals reconnect with themselves while supporting our community of families and caregivers with loved ones who are struggling with their mental wellness. Why Mindfulness?

Mindfulness means something different to everyone, but for us, it’s a transformative practice that promotes mental clarity, emotional balance, and overall well-being. By participating in our retreat, you’ll embark on a journey of self-discovery and relaxation, learning techniques to integrate mindfulness into your daily life.

Our Mission

Our fundraiser aims to make mindfulness accessible to everyone. All proceeds will go towards supporting EmotionsBC’s mission; to improve emotional health and wellness for families and their loved ones. Our services are delivered with a barrier free approach, and your contribution to this event will help us to increase our impact, spread awareness, and continue to provide those groups and programs free-of-cost to our participants.

What to Expect 

Throughout the day, we will partake in a variety of mindfulness practices. Some may include movement, laying down, even walking outside. Self-care can look different for everyone, and our hope is that each person attending our retreat will be impacted in their own unique way.

8:30 – 8:45AM: Arrive at Edenvale Retreat Centre to Check-In

9:00AM: Welcome Practice, Teacher Introductions, and Day Overview

12:00 – 1:00PM: Catered Lunch (Eaten Silently)

5:00PM: Loving Goodbyes come to a close
